My crazy year is coming to a close!

Over the past year i have been working towards my graduation show artwork to be on display for two weeks in The Central Institute Of Technology's (CIT) artist spaces. I decided for my theme to focus on the Changing qualities in nature and how No two things in nature are exactly identical. No tree grows exactly the same as another, no flower is an exact clone, no blade of grass is exactly like its neighbour. I am currently trying to embrace the individual qualities in nature and try to convey them the best way I can by perceiving the natural shapes of my chosen objects using ceramic techniques and mediums. At the moment my work is achieving exactly what i want it to but is being very time consuming. I intend to create an entire box instillation showing slip cast Carnations being examined by the viewing in a scientific manner. I still have about a month left before my graduation show so i wont put to much detail into this blog. I just wanted to write about what i have been up to lately as i have had many people emailing me and calling me asking why i have not updates my blog for a while as i have 'dropped of the face of the earth".

I have attached sneak peaks of what my intended "Major" piece shall look like close up along with  brainstorming images that relate to my work. Another blog shall be uploaded as soon as my show is finished with photographs of my finished work along with details on if any of my work is still available for sale. Until then keep being creative!
